IT-Service Management mainly means Process Management in order to ITIL.
ITIL is a very large treasure chest of „best of practise“ experiences, how to manage
IT-Services quite successfully.
Nevertheless ITIL is not a norm nor even an autodidact manual. -
For the implementation I recommend to hire a real expert, who can present you the best roadmap to a final success.
My success as Manager for IT-Services is founded on the topics:
- deep ITIL know-how in theory (V2 and V3) and even in practise
- Training and coaching of the participating roles
- and well proven procedures.
